August 5, 20179 yr For a band that has been together for over 30 years, these guys still deliver a power packed show. Over the course of TESLA's thirty-year career, which stated in 1986, the iconic Sacramento melodic hard rock quintet – Frank Hannon [guitar], Brian Wheat [bass], Jeff Keith [lead vocals], Troy Luccketta [drums], and Dave Rude [guitar] - has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and played to sold out crowds across the globe, their three albums that followed the platinum selling “Mechanical Resonance” all went multi-Platinum. To say Tesla live is absolutely bombastic is an understatement, they are a hard rock band to beat all hard rock bands. Tonight's show to a sold out crowd at the Taft Theatre in downtown Cincinnat iproves that after 30 plus years some bands can still "GET IT DONE". The music and Jeff Keith's vocals were simply spot on. :ylsuper: That is saying alot for Jeff Keith, because many of the 80's metal band lead singers have lost there ability to perform as they did back in the day. Really enjoyed when they played 3 consecutive acoustic numbers. They started off with Comin' Atcha Live and then went into the Grateful Deads "Truckin'", they followed that up with "Paradise" & their Top 10 cover of "Signs", which the crowd gladly joined in on. After the Show me and Mrs. Lawnboy walked across the Purple People Bridge and dined at the Newport Pizza Company and then had DLG 2.0 pick us up........GREAT EVENING!!!
