“In retrospect when you take a step back, 10-3 and replacing 20 starters is not something to hang your head about,” said head coach Chris Wolfe, whose team lost in the state semifinals last year to eventual champions Trinity.

 

The Bulldogs managed to make it work and that’s exactly what they’ll have to do again this season after losing 27 seniors from last year’s team.

 

“It’s a winning culture here,” said senior outside linebacker Rasean McCauley, one of 12 returning starters for the team. “We expect to continue to win.”
