Better start an annual couch fund or replace with chairs! Those couches may last a couple years if your lucky...

 

I think the couches look great, but I think the locker room would actually look better without them.

You are absolutely right CWB. A well run public school has much more to offer than a private school.

How do the upgrades fit in with title IX?

 

If I'm not mistaken member schools must spend the same amount on both genders regardless of the funding. Is volleyball the counter part to football?

 

If it was part of capital improvement plan than Title IX becomes a little less of an issue, in that I mean, if its part of a long term plan of things in the district, it is just their turn.
