Literally zero reason to drop a couple hundred dollars on a pair of shoes IMO. No one pays attention to the shoes a person, especially a dude, is wearing.

Has to be. I don't judge much, but if you don't have at least a decent shoe game I'm always a little skeptical. It doesn't have to be expensive or anything. Just take care of them and don't go out in dirty shoes. I trust people more who take care of their shoes.

Unclean shoes and a dead fish handshake and I can promise you I won't do any business with you.

I probably spend a good $500 on shoes throughout the average year. That's probably pretty tame compared to some people. This includes golf shoes and workout shoes which I go through fairly quickly.

I haven't bought a pair of shoes in well over a year. There's no need for new shoes that often. I wear dress shoes 75% of the time. When I'm not wearing them, I wear a really nice pair of Coach shoes my wife bought me about 4-5 years ago, or I wear my running shoes because I'm going for a run.

 

Every now and then I'll wear an older pair of running shoes if I'm going to be outdoors a lot.

 

I think I have 6 pairs of dress shoes, (3 black, 3 brown), 2 pairs of running shoes, and the Coach shoes I mentioned above. That's the extent of my shoes. Oh, and I have a pair of cleats I use to mow the lawn because I have a hill.

Haha. I have bought 9 pairs of shoes in the past 12 months that I can think of off the top of my head. 2 pairs of golf shoes (about to be 3), 2 pairs of workout shoes, 2 pairs of running shoes/everyday tennis shoes, 1 dress pair, 2 pairs of basketball shoes. Haha
