Would guess already a millionaire so what was offered may have been pocket change that wouldn't make him want to give up his seat. He may be a millionaire but according to the Courier Journal he's not currently practicing medicine. He surrendered his license in 2005 after being convicted of drug charges. His wife does have a practice in Etown.
