April 5, 20179 yr Good call by the judge in this case. It's bad for a city or county to be dragged through years of lawsuits and attorneys' fees while the elected official still draws a salary. Especially over $1,500. I'm cringing over how much Bardstown's current issues with its elected mayor is going to cost the city over top of what his administration has already cost the taxpayers (it's much more than $1,500). The mayor didn't show for tonight's city council meeting after the fallout from the release of last week's release of the investigation file into his alleged missteps.
