I don't think Clay or Ballard won in 87/88

Trinity in 2012 or so when they won state? (and since they just lost tonight )

Surprising, especially back when Clay was great and the KOB was the nation's marquee event.

Answer: Remember the KOB is played in December...the LIT and State Tournament the next calendar year.
