Crazy to think the this is the LCA team that Holy Cross beat in overtime, and just took down the Dunbar team that destroyed CovCath a couple of weeks ago.

I concur Lawnboy, Paris made them look slow and unable to control or adapt to the faster pace.

 

This week LCA began posting up all three of their bigs, exploiting mismatches, and relying less on the 3 point shot. Particularly the quick 3. Slower pace, less run-outs, less fatigue in 4th, fresher on defense, stronger with the ball.

 

LC is good at forcing pace but tonight they were never able to do so, and they had been able to twice vs. LCA earlier this season. Same vs. Dunbar on Tuesday.

 

LCA is a really smart team - not sure they can take Scott Co., but I wouldn't want to play them.

So we could see a Lexington Catholic vs Scott County first round. In addition, now Dunbar is eliminated.

 

Could see this matchup again for the finals, although Scott County has to be the favorite.
