For Division III teams that's a major accomplishment, and possibly Villa's first ever.

Villa Madonna has a nice team this season. Schutzman is a nice player and could play for a lot of bigger schools. Has a scorers mentality.

This was a great game. Back and forth the whole way. The biggest lead for either team couldn't have been more than 5 or 6. Villa held Dayton scoreless for the final 3-4 minutes.

 

Believe this was the second time the school has won the D3 crown with the other being 2013.
