GRC Fastest Player

One last thing, if a kid ran the 200 meters in 19.68 sec, I wounder what his 40 time would be. This kid is a Winchester and Lexington native, he was clocked under 4.2, he holds the 3rd fastest time on record Tyson Gay, he played football for Lex, Lafayette hes world class speed. It would have been a shame, if my man tyson, times were unaccurate, he would just be the 3rd doubt in the world. and not the 3rd fastest in the 200m. :fight:

I played against Tyson Gay in High School and he was just an average football player. Was he the fastest guy on the field....no doubt, was he the best FOOTBALL PLAYER on the field.....not even close. He rarely even touched the ball, most of that is bad coaching, but it's the truth. Speed is great in football, but you have to know how to use it.

Tyson Gay is an exception to all of this 4.2-4.3 talk, he was known to be a great sprinter all through out high school in state track meets and is a world class sprinter now. These are legit races where the timing is for real. I am just questioning all these "clocked 40's" that are very suspect. I don't think that you can say a guy ran a legit 4.2 with the JV defensive line coach timing him on the school's track.

Good point:thumb: Ok some of the coaches will do that, but this kid Morton, could be the next great sprinter in track, I dont think football will be his tickit. hes alot better as a sprinter.

You might be right, when they timed him in the 40 the colleges coaches could'nt handle 4.32:flame:

Not so much.....

There are roughly 1% of ALL high school seniors that run that time, under a laser. He's not one, I am certain.

This is a crazy thread. My kid is stronger than yours. World class times. Let's get real.
