I'm going to give you a Rude Awakening...one of the best finishing moves in pro wrestling history.

The Camels defense has been outstanding through this 10 game win streak.

Congrats to CC - have to say I was underwhelmed by Woodford County's offense. Part of that was attributable to CC's defense - but WC was missing open looks badly. Not surprising they scored 33 points.

Campbell Co: Bertsch 6 5 20, Clos 3 2 10, Hegyi 3 2 8, Jolly 2 0 4, Helton 1 1 4, Day 2 0 4, Geiman 1 2 4, Marlow 1 0 3, Schaefer 1 0 2. Totals 20 12 59.

 

Woodford Co: Cromwell 4 1 11, Richards 3 3 10, Cason 1 0 2, Smith 0 2 2, Stromberg 1 0 2, Nash 0 2 2, Tabor 1 0 2, Alexander 1 0 2. Totals 11 8 33.

 

3-pointers: CC 6 (Bertsch 3, Clos 2, Marlow, Helton), WC 3 (Cromwell 2, Richards). Records: CC 12-1, WC 7-6.

It may not be "loaded" in regards to state competition, but the Camels are the class of the 10th region. And, Lloyd, Holmes, Newport, and Conner could all very well make the 9th region tournament, which is a fairly tough region in the state.

 

So, I wouldn't say the competition was underwhelming by any means, and the Camels handled their business with relative ease.

Give the Camels there due, they are impressive, really like this team, they have some size and can shoot the ball as well as anyone, my pic in the tenth.

A win is a win I guess. Pretty weak field though.Wow

Aside from Cov Cath and Cooper, who is the next best team in NKY? I go with the Camels.
