Winner/loser will face winner/loser of Somerset/Bell County

Estill County comes in 5-1 averaging 62 points a game....allowing 53 points a game....

Danville comes in 0-4...averaging 55 points a game...allowing 71 points a game....

These two teams kinda went in opposite directions at the end of last season...Danville graduated 7 seniors from a team that went 15-15....Estill returned everyone from a team that went 11-20

Score Predictor: Danville 59-53

Danville has started slow in part because their football players arrived late after making the state championship game and they have also played a very difficult opening schedule. It would surprise me to see them pick up a win here. However, Estill seems to be playing very good ball. This should be a fun tournament opener.

I think Danville is starting to find its basketball legs and sounds like they are improving each game. Hard to pick a winner.

Estill 65

Danville 64
