Special shout out to Matt Overing and Jeremy Schneider for reinvigorating HS sports back into the Advocate Messenger!

 

They've done a really nice job there. I've always enjoyed the sports section but it had become a little too UK-heavy. Glad to see more high school coverage. Plus, they're both really nice guys.

Getting rid of Larry was the worst thing that paper ever did. Glad to see it's finding a rebirth in local coverage.

I love Larry but these to guys really bring it. They are great on social media as well. These guys, in addition to Joe Mathis on Hometown Radio doing the pregame is pretty awesome. Where else do you play fantasy football using high school players?

I've enjoyed reading their stuff online. But there's been quite a gap in the last few years since Larry left. Glad to see it's picking up with new blood and new approaches. :thumb:
