I hope you'd consider Jason Michael, because WKU will be giving him every chance in the world to win that job.

Titans qb coach?

Candidates for Western Kentucky's vacancy include Troy coach Neal Brown, Idaho coach Paul Petrino and Western Kentucky co-offensive coordinator Tony Levine, the former head coach at Houston.

Jason Michael. He is leader in the clubhouse in spite of whatever article you just pulled that from.

All of those candidates make sense, and deserving. But, what the hell...let's throw some more out there.

What about these guys who happen to be very decorated WKU Football Alum:

1) Romeo Crennel? He probably wouldn't have any interest having been in the NFL the last 30 years, and WKU probably couldn't afford him (then again, I don't know what he gets paid as the Texans' DC)

2) Darryl Drake? Drake played WR on The Hill back in the late 70's. He's spent time in both the college level and NFL. He's currently the WR coach for the Arizona Cardinals, was the same for the Chicago Bears from 04-12 and was the Associate Head Coach/WR Coach for the University of Texas in 03 just to name his most recent stops. Drake applied & was interviewed for the WKU job back when they hired Petrino in 2013.
