Does Somerset have a post season chance this year? Did they loose that much from last year?

Scotty Newell (RB), Ray Norman (WR), Matt Salmons (FB & S), Chad Hinton (TE & BLB), Boone Williams (CB), Kyle McCoy (OL & DL), Jared Rhodus (OL), Kyle Spears (WLB), John Jones (N) all starters who graduated last year.

Nice lookin out! Yes, Macon can develop into a very good reciever. He just has to want it. He has the size, but does he have the heart?

#1 has the potential to be a great receiver, but he has to keep working from what I saw in this game. #11 is a good receiver and looks like he has the heart already.

Overall I was not too overly impressed with the Ads in the first half. Somerset had the chance to go into half time only down by six. But the Ads did make plays when they needed to and the fact that Somerset could not tackle hurt them. One play where the running back scored for Danville, I think every Somerset player touched him as least once and some more than once.

Nice game from the Ads tonight. Much improvement in the secondary from last week (thank goodness). Both teams' quarterbacks showed very strong arms during the game. Other than the flag happy officials, it was pretty entertaining to watch.

As we were driving home at 10 pm and the game was still going on, I realized how long the game took. The officials must have called a penalty every other play. And someone needs to tell the official that when he was signaling intentional grounding he was actually using the signal for illegal man down field. But the referees did not make a difference in the game.

I would say their was atleast 3 or 4 penalties a drive for both teams.

Correction, the official was actually signalling illegal forward pass. He waved his hand behind his back for the intentional grounding calls.
