November 22, 20169 yr To me, this has become 95% of political discourse. It is used as the primary defense mechanism to justify and legitimize actions of our political leaders. "You didn't say that when HRC was ...."; "Trump is praised for chastising issue X, but when Obama did it, you were calling for his head."; etc. Rinse and repeat... And I am not talking at just the BGP level. That is all you hear from said political leaders and pundits who help frame many of the talking points we consume.

November 22, 20169 yr Every single person is hypocritical, in its strictist definition, at times, on an ongoing basis. So its not really worth the effort. What can be frustrating is when ideals are expressed but not lived up to - personally or politically - and then called out as simple 'hypocracy'. Let he or she who is without hypocratcy cast the first slight.
