Trump agrees to pay $25 million to settle Trump University lawsuits

I'm sure he will think twice before lending his name to another endeavor such as this.

Totally agree SF. He just needs this to go away since he is now President. Best thing that happened to the folks suing him is that he won last Tuesday. If he lost, this case would be tied up another few years most likely.

NY Attorney General made it clear that Mr Trump could not use charitable funds to pay his $25M penalty. He has used such funds in the past to pay legal settlements.

Good news for Mr Trump.

He can take a $25M write off on his taxes for this fine.

Interesting, was the university set up as a 501? If it was, not sure how they can enforce that. If it wasnt then that makes sense.
