Maybe the fact that he plays pretty much all over on a defense and on offense... he's a playmaker and it's been proven by his play all year. That's why he is there. I don't even think Jabrill Peppers is the best player on Michigan. I would take Jourdan Lewis and Jake Butt on my team all day everyday over Peppers.

He's arguably the most versatile player in college football Why on earth would Harbaugh risk one of his best players on defense to play offense? Because they lack skill players on offense outside of Darboh and Butt. It has more to do with Michigans depth, than it does Peppers.

If was back there ball hawking and laying hits on dudes coming across the middle I would give him credit, but he isn't. He's playing linebacker so I refuse to give him credit for his ability to play a position he isn't even playing consistently in college.

I understand that, but he isn't a great linebacker, decent linebacker, but not great. MSU and Iowa ran at him specifically and he was unable to stop the running back. Everyone is giving him credit for his insane athleticism, not his play on the field where he isn't performing to expectations.
