Did you not see last year's team?

 

I saw it...to me that team had more offensive weapons than this team. Very early still though...I could be wrong, but they will have to improve a ton to be a decent team. Just one guy's opinion who has been wrong before.:thumb:

Last year's game at paintsville was blown open by Pugh's supporting cast... Ward, Freno, Dododer. Pugh doesnt have that this year. Daniel has to be Paintsville's play maker on both sides of the ball.

p'burg wind bt 7 in a pretty good game.

Prestonsburg needs to:

 

1. On defense, keep Pugh contained in the pocket.

2. On offense, play a ball-control running game. (Prestonsburg's young linemen need to step forward this week).

 

Paintsville needs to:

 

1. On defense, not give up big yardage to P-burg's outside running game.

2. Of offense, exploit the Blackcat tendency to overplay with lots of misdirection, counters, and reverses (and a gadget play or two...).

 

Biggest obvious[/v] advantage to either team: Prestonsburg has a good FG unit, Paintville doesn't even kick PATs. It could matter...

It's a sad day for Prestonsburg football when they have to worry about whether or not they can beat the Tigers. Believe me, as a Johnson Central fan I know...I have seen many sad days...but not recently...and I must say it feels pretty good.
