The BlueRaiders finish the regular season 10-1 with a Senior Day victory of visiting Bethel U. The BlueRaiders have assured themselves a spot in the playoffs and with the help of a couple of losses yesterday may get to host a playoff game in the first round on Nov. 19. LWC is off next week, the last of the regular season, and will wait a week to find out where the open the playoffs at. Home or the road. Congrats Sr. BlueRaiders. This class has amassed 36 wins (and counting) over it's 4 years. I think this little school being down in Columbia gets overlooked a little but the coaching staff down there has built a nice program in just a few short years. Hope to see it keep rolling in the years to come. FB16-Senior-Day01.jpg

Well said sir. Hard fought game that LWC trailed 38 to 31 at one time with Bethel having all the momentum and then they pitch a 21-0 shutout to win the game. The bye week could not come at a better time for the kids and the staff. Get rested up and ready to go on November 19, hopefully at home and then as they say, go 1-0 that week.

This picture is making me a little emotional. This senior class marks the last class that I played with. Love every single one of these guys, great friends/teammates.

Looks like the Blue Raiders have a really good chance at hosting a first round game in the playoffs that start the 19th of November. Just have to hope that they hold onto that 8 spot while on a bye week.
