gold sunrise Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Congrats to Powell Co.:thumb: You played with lots of heart guys. Hope #11 will be OK
newarkcatholicfan Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 It looks that Phelps will be lucky too win a game this season. I was able to watch their week one game on tape thanks to Wheeler and they look way down even compared to what they usually look.
Boomer34 Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Congrats to Powell County. Phelps played much better Friday Night than they did in their opener. They had a running back (#24) that didn't play against Shelby Valley, but did against Powell. The Phelps boys play with their emotions on their sleeves, which can be good and bad. If they can contain that, they can improve. Powell has a lot to work on, but the potential is there. Good Luck to both teams throughout the season.
GO15AROD Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Powell needed this win not only for the boost that it gives the players, but for the boost to the coaching staff.
Boomer34 Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Powell needed this win not only for the boost that it gives the players, but for the boost to the coaching staff. What do you mean a boost to the coaching staff? Powell Co. has had its fair share of adversity...I wouldn't say that the coaches are in need of a boost of any sort. They are working hard just like every other coaching staff. Just because their team gets off to a slow start doesn't mean they need people to pat them on the back and tell them it's ok.
GO15AROD Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Boomer34, Coaches need pats on the back just like everyone else.
