Hearsay Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 I can't remember the last time there was a 200 yard rusher against the Green Wave. I think everybody in 4A Region 2, District 3 lost tonight. This used to be a colossal district but it seems the West is very good this year.

Word is that they can be somewhat unsportsmanlike....for lack of a better term. Hopefully, the staff will address this. :fight:

devils58 Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 Yes Easypro please explain because I was at the game and there was some pad poppin' goin on out there but it looked clean to me. OHS plays with a lot of fire and emotion on defense and there is no apologies for that. We've always believed in leaving it all out on the field and shaking hands after the game. As for the game, Meade County was as tough as greenwave07 said they would be. It was a tight one throughout, but OHS's Nick Hall got loose in the second half to come through for the Red Devils. I thought OHS's line did a fantastic job blocking Meade County with the Green Wave having as many in the box as they did. MC was very tough on defense, and very fundamentally sound on offense. Whoever goes to "Death Valley" will get all they want from MC. I just thought the overall athleticism of OHS prevailed in the end. Hall got loose to put OHS up 14-3 and that forced Meade to go to the pass and then OHS defense stepped it up in the fourth quarter. Then Hall busted loose again for the backbreaker. After another OHS stop on D, Hall returned the punt back for a TD, but it was called back making the final 21-3. Meade missed a golden scoring oppurtunity in the second quarter when a pass in the end zone was deflected at the last second by the OHS corner. OHS held to a field goal. :fire:
EasyPro Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Care to explain what your talking about? It just seems to me that every year we play Owensboro, we have disciplinary problems. I'm all for trash talk. I think its what makes the game exciting...but when you curse opposing coaches, I believe you may be taking it a bit too far.
