His name is always going to come up because he is a fantastic coach, but he is really going to have to convince the president of every university to hire him. He can win fans and the AD over, but in the end the president/ chancellor will have the final say and I don't see any president giving the OK to hire him.
October 18, 20169 yr Just saw a list of 8 potential candidates for the Notre Dame job if it comes open: Les Miles Jim Tressel PJ Fleck Josh McDaniels Bob Stoops Tom Herman David Shaw Urban Meyer I would think only 2-3 of those guys would realistically consider ND.
October 18, 20169 yr I thought the same thing, but I've since changed my mind. What makes you so sure? His contract extension, what he's built in Tallahassee, the environment. LSU would be a step back IMO. SEC means crap and I highly doubt Jimbo wants to start all over again building a program.

FSU is a great program, but LSU is on another level. I'm with you on the SEC. Besides Bama and LSU I don't think any other job is on the level of FSU. LSU can also pay him more than FSU. There is more work to do at FSU right now than there is at LSU for him currently.

Beyond that, I think it's a stretch, although I think he probably could if he wanted. I also think when he wins his 5th ring, he's done. If that happens this season, I could just as easily see him hanging it up.

Just my opinion, but I don't think Belichick is as attached to Brady as most people think he is.
