I would say Ashland didn't want their field torn up with potentially three home games remaining.

 

I didn't think about that. I imagine that may be part of the reasoning behind the game being postponed. I still think that's silly though because there is no hope for that field at this point in the season anyway. With the field being a natural bermuda playing surface, it's essentially dormant and brown by late October or early November. It doesn't matter how well you take care of it or how little you use it, it's just not a grass that is natural to our climate.

This one got buried over the weekend due to the varsity games. I assume it's still scheduled for tonight?
