After living to tell about it from last week, I'll say it again this week, Middlesboro is for real. They are going to make some noise.

Central really made us look bad in week #1 but NO ONE on here knows just how good that team is.

 

They could IMO beat any team In the mountain and also play with any school in the State.

 

This team (Middlesboro) will be fun to watch the rest of the season.

Mboro was up 34 - 0 with more than 6 minutes left in the first Q, and pulled their starters. (Later put some of them back in to get the clock moving). Had 4 INT's led by Adams with 2.

What starters did they pull? I didn't see subs untill the last drive of the first half. And if they did sub it was normal rotations for Middlesboro. Pineville fought back hard and was making a run back at the Jackets but some iffy calls put the momentum back in Middlesboro favor before the half. But Coach Elam after an open week next week will have these boys ready to go for their next game.

Hoskins, Earls, and Ford never saw offensive action in the second half and Middlesboro still put up points with Bowling running for 2 td's.

Starters were out in the 1st, some came back in the 2nd, IMO to try and get the 45 pt lead so the clock would run.

 

Pineville player left the game and pulled his shoes off. Rumour was that he was wearing baseball spikes. He didn't come back in - is this an ejectable offense, if the rumour was indeed true?
