BTW, Boone has three or four good running backs. One ran for 220+ yrd in the first game. He is a strong runner and one of the fastest backs in the area. Another back is big and athletic. Goes for a lot of 8-10 yrd bursts. Then they have a FB that gets quite a few yards every time he touches the ball. He runs hard and will challenge for every inch. And a fourth back gets some touches and rips off a 15 to 20 yarder. Cahill, K-D, Morgan, and Kramer have earned respect this season.

 

@Oldercoach, it's hard to argue with your logic regarding the clock. lol.

 

I would love to see the Boone offense put together several nice drives. Each game they have put together a couple of drives that keep the chains moving and eat the clock. We need a good dose of that on Friday. The defense would benefit from that. They're going to have their hands full with the SK offense as it is.

Much like Conner, Boone knows everything they need to know about SK. There aren't any secrets. If they can run the ball between the tackles they keep the game close. If not, SK will run 3x as many plays as BC and wins with the clock running.

Cahill has 426 yards rushing 3 tds. Douglas has 9 catches for 292 yards 4 tds. The fullback Morgan is 5'9 205 pounds. What kind of offense do they run now?

^ This. That's why I mention long, clock-eating drives by the offense. SK hasn't scored less than 39 points in a game this season and 77 against Highlands is just ridiculous. I'd prefer to see Boone possess the ball.
