Showcase Fee: $45 (Pre-registration) and $50 at Site

Who: Players in Grades 1-8

Grew to even a greater respect for Coach Cohen and the U of K baseball program after our son attended the hitting camp. The Nutter fieldhouse amazingly adapts so well for indoor baseball with the automatic netting from the ceiling. Coach Cohen has a weath of experience and a non-cooking cutter approach to hitting. He allows different hitters to approach hitting from different styles while implementing basic principles. His drills emphasize a solution to a hitting challenge rather than micro-managing mechanics. The camp was very well organized. I know that coaches from atleast Transylvania, Berea, and Georgetown Colleges attended.

2008 Elvis Dominguez Baseball Camp

 

Hitting Camp for 14-18 year olds on January 26th from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Cost is $75.

 

Pitching/Catching Camp for 14-18 year olds on January 26th from 1-4 PM.

Starting on Jan 21st and going on each Monday until Feb. 18th, EKU will hold a baseball league for 7-10 year olds. There will be 4 teams that will play 1 game each week (2 games each Monday). While one game is going on the other 2 teams will be given instruction by EKU coaches in pitching, fielding, and baserunning. EKU is only taking the 1st 40 kids to sign up.

 

Monday Night Madness will be held in EKU's Alumni Coliseum (auxiliary gym).

The cost is $75 per child. The standings will be kept and the winning team will be given a championship t-shirt.

 

Bring your own glove, wear shorts or sweats, wear tennis shoe, and bats are optional.

Illinois State Camps

 

Winter Pitching Clinic

• When: January 27, 2008
  
• Where: Horton Field House on the campus of Illinois State University
  
• Ages: All high school aged pitchers (Grades 9-12)
  
• Cost: $75 per participant
  
• Registration Deadline: January 24, 2007
  
• Camp Details: The clinic will focus on correct pitching mechanics and will include a session on proper strength training for pitchers. Each participant will also receive a written evaluation following the camp.

Camp Details: The purpose of this camp is to teach participants the fundamentals of hitting. Instruction will focus on improving mechanics and offensive approach. Each weekly session will being with instruction and drill work. The second half of each session is reserved for hitting games. Statistics will be recorded each week so that participants can see their progress from week to week.
