Do you know anything about Xavier's prospect camp for pitchers and catchers this Sat. Jan 13.

I know very little about Coach Googins, other than he was in the Big Ten for a while. You can register on-line also.

Here is some additional information, regarding the itinerary:

Date: Jan 13

Time: 10am-2pm

Ages: High School Juniors and Seniors

Cost: $65

Where: Xavier University's Schmidt Fieldhouse

(Off Victory Pkwy)

Important Facts: Campers will receive a Camp T-shirt, prizes from contests and quality professional baseball instruction

Campers will have use of Casey Pro ATEC Pitching Machine, Granada Pitching Machine, Ken Griffey Instructo Swing, Swing Away Hitting Machine

What to Bring: Hat, bat, glove, batting gloves

Athletic clothing and sneakers/baseball shoes

Protective gear (optional) and catching equipment (optional)

If you have an interest, in XU then attending for exposure, would certainly be worth it. I will be at another camp this weekend. Hope this bit of information helps....:thumb:

Thanks

I was trying to find out if a few of the other local schools would be there.

Usually practice has just began again and these early Jan. camps, are mostly college specific.

You could email Coach Googins and inquire....Sorry, wish I could have been more help.

just like to say that we went to the EKU camp this past weekend and the staff there was terrific and they really kept the boys busy with the different drills. This is a great camp to hone your skills and get seen by a top coaching staff
