Covington Catholic was in control the whole game. It was similar to the varsity game in that CCH controlled the ball and clock and Beechwood's defense hung in there and made big stops. It seemed like the whole game was played in Beechwood's end of the field. CCH scored a TD in the second quarter making it 8-0 at halftime. Then they added a TD in the third quarter and a final one in the fourth quarter to put the game away. It was a competitive game but Beechwood's offense was never able to move the ball enough to threaten the Colonels.

 

I really enjoyed talking with TOG at the game today. Thanks to him for posting the final score.

From watching some of the Frosh play for Beechwood in this game, can't wait to see the CovCath Beechwood Frosh game coming up on the the 6th of October @ Beechwood.
