Louisville Collegiate 2016/2017

Featured Replies

Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Louisville Collegiate? Remember, please be constructive.

Collegiate has almost everyone of note returning, the sole exception being John Steenrod, who provided an inside presence for the Titans. The returning players include Ryan McDaniel, a 6' 8" transfer from St. X who became eligible midway through the season. Besides his height, McDaniel possesses a sweet jump shot. DaRon Washington is another transfer (from PRP, I believe) who became eligible during the season last year and is a quality inside player. Barrett Myers and his 13 ppg average return, as do solid players Alec Hertzman and Parker Duff. That is a good group returning.

That being said, I have heard various rumors about Collegiate. I first heard that Collegiate might have more basketball transfers this year. More recently, I have heard that Coach Gray may not be coaching this year. I don't if any of that is true, so I won't speculate based on what might happen. Instead, I will only say that, based on what they have returning from last year, Collegiate should be among the better small schools in the Louisville area this season.
