In 3 games (against 3 ranked teams), Clark Payne is 59-85 (69.4%), 790 yards. 10 TDs with 0 interceptions. 2 of the games played were with limited time due to running clock.

He is on pace for a record breaking year for a Bowling Green, QB.

Offensively, there should be many records that are broken this year for the Purples

He's is the one of most underrated player n sometime.. Good agility and knows what he needs to do. Very impressive player and is the straw that stirs the drink for BG.

Who did BG beat last night?

Who did BG beat last night?

St. Xavier out of Louisville.

What are his measurables? Meaning, where will he play college ball at and what level? Playing at this level for BG has me thinking he can play college football somewhere and get a free education.

Thanks PP92

Clark is holding out in hopes of picking up some decent offers. He is an excellent student and will get a academic scholarship. Size is factor, arm strength possible factor but as far as a high school player in KY he is about as good as it gets.

People argued with Purple88 and myself when we said that Payne would not miss a beat after Devin Hayes graduated.

Im not educated enough in KY football statistics but someone try to find this out for me. Is Clark Payne statistically up there with the best of them on completion % and TD to INT ratio? Wherever he stacks up it has to be near the top.

Regardless where he goes or does not go he is a special player in Purple history. Very good QB on a very special team. All these boys over the last decade have made all of us alumni proud. It has been a wonderful ride. Keep it up Purples!
