My thoughts watching the First Half:

- These are both pretty solid football teams. Neither wow me... neither I see winning a State Title..but two solid squads

- This makes me even more impressed with Danville seeing how big and strong Southwestern is

- Knox is very physical and very old school. The team you dont want to see on a wet and rainy November night

- I honestly think Southwestern tries too hard to be balanced. They spread the love with carries and passes, but Patric Edwards is a special player. I wonder to myself if they would score more points and maintain more drives if Edwards was touching it 25+ times a game instead of 15-20

Also Knox may have lost their best big play threat to injury in Carton. Not sure the severity of the injury but if he is out an extended time that could be huge in a very balanced District
