Collins won a shootout with Bullitt East 55-52, in which the teams combined for over 1100 yards of total offense. JR Lucas was especially impressive, going 21/29 for 389 yards and 6 TDs. This week they'll travel to 1-1 Louisville Eastern, which comes in off a 34-11 loss to Christian Academy-Louisville. They also played Bullitt East, winning 36-32. The common scores tell a story of a hard fought game. Last year Eastern got the better of Collins 49-44. Might we see a similar result?

I would like to see Collins play some defense this week. Historically, Collins hasn't fared too well against Eastern for some reason. Hopefully Collins can figure things out on defense or at least get enough offense to outscore the Eagles.

Eastern will always comes after you with tons of athletes. Key to victory is to get on them fast and keep them down don't let them get up and have momentum.

IMO this is a big game for Collins. This game will get them off to a 3-0 start with an off week off to get ready for 4 huge games coming up. I know Coach Lucas just wants his team to get better each week.

Eastern in a close one. Looks like both teams have had some questions on the defensive side of the ball. Eastern seemed to have made some improvements against CAL.
