The Gators started off the season right with a 39-7 win over Warren East. Allen County lost a close one to Daviess County with a final score of 20-12. Can the Patriots right the ship and pull off the upset, or are the Gators poised to make another run in 5A?

I think this will be close. From what I read in the BGDN, ACS shot themselves in the foot several times.

I think this will be a close one, but I think Gwood pulls this one out late.

I'm really high on the Gators this year. They return a lot of talent from last years gritty team. Then, you add in speedster Willie Reynolds and they have the home run hitter they've been missing.

ACS seems like a solid team. I was told if not for the turnovers, they'd have won the DC game. Knowing what I know about Greenwood from last year, and Daviess County this year, I have to predict Greenwood to win this one.

Greenwood 35

ACS 14

If Greenwood comes out prepared and focused, I like them to win this game, but Allen County Scottsville is one of sleeper teams as I really think they have a good team this year, just playing some tough teams.
