Jack is a Junior, that is correct. As far as the "QB Battle" per say, with both QBs being upperclassmen the compeition during practice will only make each one better. One would think that Ridder gets the starting spot week 3 once he returns, buuut if he struggles early does Albers get a shot?

I would say no. Ridder was the guy last year and hopefully after a year of being the starter progress has been made as a QB and in understanding the offense.

 

I'm not in the meeting room or on the practice field so I don't know how close the battle really is, but if Ridder is "their guy" then I would imagine he will get every opportunity to be the guy, at least early on.
