Where on the scoreboard with this be posted and when ... also when will Ivan get his field ? Last question is this Ivan's last season ??

I think the old coach stays as long as the boosters feed after the games ...

Looking forward to the season , should be lot's of defending state champ buzz , anticipation for a talented group of Devils and very experienced coaching staff ....

It will be a long period of mourning when that guy leaves. He is Russell football. Who do you think would fill his shoes if it happened in the near future? Well I hope the Coach stays on for several more years. He is one of them that make this state proud of its High school football.

Coach McGlone is a great person, teacher and coach. I heard him say he will stay around as long as RUSSELL will keep him. I have not heard lately how his wife is doing, hope she is doing well. GOOD LUCK TO THE DEVILS ON A GREAT SEASON,AND HOPE TO SEE COACH McGLONE FOR MANY MORE SEASONS.

Thanks Titan. You show alot of class with your posts on BGP. Hey, you all have a pretty good coach yourself. Maybe we'll see each other on Dec. 2nd.

BLASPHEMYYYYYYY.... Talk about Russell without IVAN. Thats like peanut butter and NO jelly! Thats like Peas and NO carrots. AND- OH MY thats like, thats like, Thats just like.... well- blasphemy. Russell Football is TRADITION.

No one on here can talk for the MAN, but what ever the MAN decides we will have to accept. Coach as long as he wants or retire and spend time with Gloria, either way he is a man of character. I will always remember the words he spoke to me....."What are you doing son,- ACT LIKE YOU'VE SCORED BEFORE !!" The dance of death was never seen again....

What McGlone teaches and how he lives his life is what high school football is all about. He has touched so many young mens lives that the stadium would not hold them all. High schol football will be different when he is gone.

He is a sure HOF in Kentucky high school athletics.

I sure hope we do. We know Russell will be there. Mercer has to take care of business to get there. It would be a great game!

I believe the actual ceremony will be the night of the Boyd County game September 8th.
