Its on Prepspin youtube from your thread last night.

Quinton Brown (and may other Generals) had good night.

Lafayette was up 20-7 toward end of 3rd. Male took 21 to 20 lead by end of 3rd. Wood did not play the second half.

Definitely two good teams that will contend.

As to be expected the inexperienced Bulldogs struggled to find any offensive rhythm. The defense played ok but not stellar. I'm really interested to see how Coach Wolfe's staff gets these guys improved week to week.

A lot of young talent saw the field. The lines on both sides of the ball are clearly not what they have been in the past. The two QBs competing to start barely had any protection. Based on the look test, Thomas is ahead of Chesher but the margin is slim.

I would definitely say Lafayette had the upper hand in terms of starting varsity. Once it was clearly the underclassmen, Male had the advantage.

Lafayette is big and were pumped for the scrimmage. The big time recruit looked the part. Played great on both sides of the ball.

Biggest takeaways - Offense is not going to score at will like they looked at times last season. Defense is quick and athletic. They have been unsung due to the explosive offenses Male has fielded but this group is going to have to carry the team early.

The gold team cleats look great!
