Purple88 Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 BG looks good in all phases. Bring on John Hardin!
Purple Nation Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Just now leaving Stadium. Bowling Green JV and varsity looked really good tonight. A few early game jitters but disappeared very quick for JV. In JV action quarterback BEAU Buchanan basically throws a perfect game. 15 minute running clock and purples win 21 to 0 in JV action. 3 td passes, no incompletes. Varsity played one regulation half, and looked really good. Winning 35 to nothing in one half of play with JV players mixed in throughout game. The purples offense is just going to be nearly impossible to stop this year. As impressive as the offense was the key part of the game and probably the most underrated part of Bowling Green's team this year is the defensive line. Although the game was only one half, I would be very surprised if Station Camp had positive yardage. The new linebacker and defensive end, Justin Dingle is a man among boys. I can only imagine as the season goes on how good he is going to be. Hard to believe that he is only a junior. Heading to the house. I will post more later. I will say this, if you try to run on Bowling Green this year there is no way you will win.
PurplePride92 Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 I've heard that Beau Buchanan is the real deal. Who are his parents(dad)? That Buchanan name sounds so familiar to me.

PurplePride92 Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Dad is David Buchanan. David was QB for BG in the early to mid-1980's. Good deal. Thanks. I knew the Buchanan name sounded familiar for a reason.
Once a Colonel Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 How did Christian County's Kenner do? Hoping he has a great year!!!
Purple Nation Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Kenner is a nice player. He is mixed in the bunch with some really good talent. I think he will come around (his speed will keep him on the field) but with Caruthers in the backfield and Deangelo Wilson as the number 1 WR (no words to describe what a good HS receiver he is), Kenner will be a steady player this year. Next year, he will be a go to guy but this is the year of a 1,500 yard rusher and a thousand yard receiver in Wilson.
