Back to the '80's ..... Your All-Time Favorite Music Videos

Featured Replies

I have thoroughly enjoyed this walk down memory lane, but holy crap there are so many great tunes that I literally feel like there is no end to what I could post. I feel so fortunate that MTV arrived on the scene at the same time in my life that I was eating up every bit of music that I could get my hands on. Every generation has spawned incredible music, but there's no denying that the 80's were so very special with the addition of the music video to accompany it. As much as I like to keep my ear to the ground for new and inventive stuff and regularly sample numerous eras, if forced to pick a time that I could only listen to for the rest of my life it just might very well have to be the 80's.

My preteen and teen years were the '70's, the best decade for music in my opinion. However, I really loved the '80's as well.

Any video featuring the beautiful Marta Marrero, better known as Martika, would have to be pleasant viewing.

Poignant video for a song that touches on a serious subject.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZt7J0iaUD0

Remember this one? This video is very Rod Serling-esque. I'm working on something similar. I'm gonna call it "Divided by Zero."

Lots to like about this memorable video--- Great tune featuring the absolutely stunning Aimee Mann. I love how she gets back at the narcissistic schlong and embarrasses the hell out of him at the end.

Any video featuring the gorgeous Martha Davis singing and starring in is one that I could watch again and again. Doesn't hurt that the song is a winner as well.

I was married by the time the 80s rolled around. There were music videos in the 80s? :eyeonyou:
