Racer89 Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Is this due to Mr. Crutchfield? I maybe see the Sooners getting a pipeline of basketball talent from the Bluegrass State.
Greenvilleky Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Crutchfield certainly knows hoptown and UHA. But the offer is because kyky has played very well playing up an age group in the eybl. He also knows, coming from UHA, that he will qualify and do well in college. When the 2019 rankings come out, look for kyky to be top 25-top 50 in the nation.
WKY Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 This kid is the best prospect I have seen in Hopkinsville in a very long time. He impresses me more than Scotty Hopson ever did.

Scotty was special, he just made it look so easy. But you're right, kyky is better at this point than scotty was. He's more explosive. Not nearly as tall, but he's filling out nicely. Kyky's ability to get to the rim is just about the best I've seen. And he's a layup wizard. Kind of reminds me of a younger version of Briscoe, but a little bit better shooter.
Lawnboy13 Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Saw this young man at the All-A State......he is an exceptional talent, very poised with the rock.

With what I saw him do for UHA this season and what I keep hearing about his performance on the EYBL, I would be shocked if he is not Top 25 nationally when the new rankings come out.
maysvilleky Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I would like to see the state of KY produce more high D1 talent. Overall talent level has been down for several years.

maysvilleky Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 2019 class is loaded with high major talent! Who are the HIGH D1 candidates? Or is it just an observation that there will be?
AnonymousCoach Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Who are the HIGH D1 candidates? Or is it just an observation that there will be? KyKy already has an Oklahoma offer. Kyle Rode likely plays high major in a system fit like a Butler or Wisconsin where he can thrive. David Johnson at Trinity has interest from Louisville and Kentucky. He projects as a HM 2 guard. Moreno is about a 2-3 inch growth spurt from being a HM PF or SF. Dontaie Allen will be a HM SG or SF. JJ Weaver can be a High Major 4 in an uptempo system but already has HM Football offers so who knows where he winds up. Again, these are all just my opinion. And I'm probably forgetting someone.
