June 6, 201610 yr I had never watched any X-Men movie before that week, they were never my cup of tea so to speak. I watched 3 that were in heavy rotation on TV the week of the Apocalypse release, so that I'd have some understanding of what was going on and who was who. It was a decent movie and didn't seem to get as bogged down as the others did. I like the younger cast better than the older cast from the first 3 movies. If you are an X-men fan I think you'll like this one as I think it is as good as First Class...and much better than Last Stand. I'm focusing my Super Hero Mojo on Suicide Squad in August, I've already moved on from X-Men. Though now that I'm somewhat invested in the series I'll probably see future movies from the series.
