Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Assumption? Remember, please be constructive.

Seniors Gray and Olinick with Willis, Elder, Allen, Babey, Metzger and Armstrong. Should be a much more competitive team this year with all the youth getting plenty of experience the last year or two.

Very talented freshmen class coming in as well. They are trying to build it back up, and don't be surprised if they pull some upsets but take some lumps as well. Like their Senior leadership as well!

Just heard one of the freshmen from last year is not coming back. Heard grades might be reason why. Don't know who though. I have seen of one of the new freshman play, Raque, dont know of any others.

Very fundamental bunch. Agree completely with upsets and bad losses. Need talent alongside those fundamentals to be consistently competitive in that region.

All I know is year in and year out, Assumption always gives Sacred Heart a good game.
