June 2, 201610 yr Author 2016 Tentative Timeline July 10th – 8:00 PM ~ Deadline for declaring your keepers July 18th – 8:00 AM ~ Official Start of the Draft - Approximately 4 picks a day must be made to complete the draft before the first game - After one week of drafting, if the estimated completion date (ECD) extends to 9/8 or later the draft clock will change to 18 hours (without notice) until the ECD falls back to 9/5. - After August 14th, if the estimated completion date (ECD) extends to 9/8 or later the draft clock will change to 12 hours (without notice) until the ECD falls back to 9/5. - After August 28th, if the estimated completion date (ECD) extends to 9/8 or later the draft clock will change to 6 hours (without notice) until the ECD falls back to 9/5. Sept 8th – first NFL game (Panthers at Broncos)
