Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Bishop Brossart? Remember, please be constructive.

With the graduation of seven quality seniors, the Mustangs will have to depend on the graduation of another successful JV squad to step up and compete in prime time in 16-17.

 

We have pieces to fit all of the impact positions. Big men Luke Flottman and Aaron Bell will hold down the post-position, while shooters Bryce Kremer, who saw substantial varsity minutes a year ago, and Junior Zach Hamberg will be our primary outside threats. Bryce Donnelly and Bryan Duffy are creditable guards who are more than capable of getting us up and down. Austin Schirmer will return to action after sitting out a year with a knee injury.

Coach Code coached teams always play quality defense, which keeps us in games and gives us a chance to win.

I expect us to be competitive as always, with a unit that will continue to learn and improve as we move forward.
