We've got a great World Title match with Roman Reigns defending against Seth Rollins. Reigns will probably win and I'll be mad, but at least Rollins is back. His speech during Raw last night was fantastic. :lol2:

 

Five of seven spots have been filled for the MITB Ladder match: Sami Zayn (def. Sheamus), Cesaro (def. Miz), Chris Jericho (def. Apollo Crews), Dean Ambrose (def. Dolph Ziggler), & Kevin Owens (def. A.J. Styles). It'll be interesting to see the other two qualifying matches. I wonder if Cena will get involved, or maybe a returning Randy Orton or Bray Wyatt. There will need to be at least one more heel IMO.

 

I think Kevin Owens is the favorite to win the MITB match, although I really like Habib's idea about Ambrose winning & cashing it in during a Reigns/Rollins match, creating a triple-threat involving The Shield.

I hope it's KO. He would be so great with that. "Shut up Cole I can hear you from here."

 

Ambrose seems like the favorite to me, but they really don't need it to justify a triple threat match.

 

It'll probably end up being someone stupid.

 

I just hope they've got a good plan for Styles and he doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

I thought Orton or Reigns would win it last year, and they had Sheamus win it. I thought that was a terrible plan, but with Orton getting hurt soon after, it probably ended up the best.

 

I would be fine with any of the current five guys winning it. I'd least like it if Jericho won, but I think he could be super obnoxious with it. And I like super obnoxious. What I don't want to see is someone like Alberto Del Rio winning MITB.

 

With you 100% on Styles. Guy fought two really great matches on Sunday & Monday. I don't have a problem with him losing both, but I want him on the winning track again. I'd imagine they're setting him up for a feud with Gallows & Anderson. What will be interesting is how (or if) Finn Balor will fit into that equation.

MITB has to go to Owens. He could pull it off great for months, love Owens, and should something happen, like with Rollins last year, you can have him cash it in, and take off with him as Champion for a while, unlike the red headed ghostbuster.

If I was the decision-maker, Owens would be my guy. I could imagine him sitting at ringside with the announcers, as he often does, and threatening to use it at various Main Events throughout the year.

I want to see Styles do well but I think the better short term play is for him to struggle without Gallows and Anderson.

 

I love Ambrose but I don't want him carrying around that silly briefcase so I would like to see someone else win the MIB Ladder Match. Owens would be a great pick, it can keep him busy all year without having to have him in any title hunts.

 

I wonder who Rusev's first feud is going to be with? The promo he and Lana cut before Extreme Rules was his best work ever on the microphone. At least in English.

 

Glad to see Enzo back. Wonder where he and Big Cass are going? The Villains too. Usos, Gun Club, etc. The tag division is loaded all of a sudden.

 

Unlike RP I am a big Sheamus fan. Curious to see where he goes from here. Maybe giving all the new guys a beatdown should be his job. I do like how one of the overarching themes is the new guys against the old guys.

 

I would also like to see a small, but meaningful part for Kane either as the Killer or the jilted Director of Operations.

 

Finally I would like to see the WWE totally rethink the Women's Division. I was glad to see Charlotte get rid of daddy. The Women need cohesive storylines and I think it is time to add a Woman's Tag Title to the mix. The lack of titles (1 vs. 4 like the men) is a part of the problem. Every woman can't be in the title hunt but if they add tag they can triple the involved Divas. The other problem with the Women is half of them are hurt now which goes against my tag idea. No matter how you look at it the WWE constantly drops the ball with the women.
