Trigg County 26 Madisonville 6

GO WILDCATS

Trigg County had three players run for over 70 yards and only threw two passes in the game. Trigg scored a touchdown in each quarter for the win.

Only two passes?!?!?!?!

Who is the guy coaching at Trigg and what did he do with Curtis Higgins?

We were wondering the same thing. It was almost as if we were watching a controlled scrimmage where the coaches agreed before the game to run nothing but running plays. I think Madisonville only threw six passes.

A Trigg game that DOESN'T take 3 hours to play.

Wow. What a concept.

Of course, get ready to stay a while when you come to Caldwell. That figures to be a long night.

The 29 players who cramped up still meant the game lasted until 10.

Ugghhh!!!

I guess I'm just going to have to get use to long games. Seems like most games back in the day never went past 9:30. Guess I'm dating myself with that one.

Wonder if we'll see any speed-up rules in high school like college?

BTW, congrats Wildcats!

Trigg does have some explosive backs, they broke some big runs against Graves in their scrimmage, :thumb:

Did anyone miss Alcoa?

I hope Trigg gets to buy something nice with the forfeit fee.
