Vet Recommendations

Featured Replies

Could anyone recommend a vet to me in the NKY area? Preferably AKC approved.

Walton Animal Clinic - Dr. Jim Meiman

We use PetWow on 27 in Highland Heights. I think they may have a branch in Florence as well.

Been using them for about year and they have been great. Get our dog groomed there as well. They send you coupons in the mail too.

We use All Creatures in Independence.

Really like them, and they've just added a groomer to their team as well.

We've also used Pet Wow that MJ mentioned for grooming, and had no complaints.

I'll add that they just added a new offer for shots and vaccinations. Basically for $99 you get a lifetime's worth of the standard shots and vaccinations. The only thing you have to do is instead of doing yearly checkups, you have to do 6 month checkups.

I use Banfield Pet Hospital in Newport (in Petsmart). They have wellness plans that you pay for but so far it seems like a good deal to me as you get things covered under the plans (no office visit fees, certain tests, etc).
