NHL Minnesota/Dallas Series

Minnesota had a great month after it looked like they were never going to catch back up to Colorado in February.

But they didn't appear ready for this.

Different year, same Minnesota. Just don't have the pieces together.

Dallas gets a strange behind and over the top of the net goal and adds another in the 3rd period to win game 2, 2-1.

The Stars lead the series 2-0.

Game 3 is in Minnesota, Tomorrow night at 8 PM. TV: CNBC, SN, FS-N, FS-WI, FS-SW

The Minnesota attack appeared out of nowhere tonight. Really fun second and third period for the Wild as the came back from a 2-0 first period deficit to win 5-3.

Jason Pominville had two goals. His line was the offensive push that got the Wild a first round series win last season. Here's hoping they can do it again and level this series.

They've played much better since that Game 1 shellacking in Dallas, but it just isn't enough. Really needed to win last night. If they don't get eliminated in game five, they'll lose it in Minnesota. Can't see this going seven as consecutive wins is probably out of their reach.

To be certain the Parise injury has hurt, but without more reliable goal scoring, this team is going to have a very similar season next year.

Crazy 3rd period for these two teams. Dallas was up 4-0 at the start of the 3rd, the Wild scored 2 goals in 16 seconds, scored again a little later to make it 4-3. Dallas scored again to make it 5-3, Minnesota scores again to make it 5-4, go empty net last two minutes and almost put one in again, it got reviewed and they said no goal, looked like it might have went across the goal line to me, but apparently I was wrong. Heck of a ride and there was no quit in the Wild. Dallas hung on for the 5-4 win and won the series.
