Washington wins game one, 2-0.

 

The Flyers hang tough, but the Caps were too much. The Flyers only had 8 shots on goal after the first period. Wayne Simmons tallying 7 penalty minutes with less than 7 minutes left in the game did not help, either.

The Caps dominate the Flyers in game 2, winning 4-1.

The brooms will be out in Philly, Wednesday night at 7.

Game 4: Flyers 2 Capitals 1

 

Washington leads the series 3 games to 1.

The Caps looked dominating the first 3 games. The series win seemed like a done deal.

 

Now Philly is back in it, winning Game 5, 2-0. The Caps appear ordinary, now.

 

The Flyers get a chance to tie the series at home noon Sunday.

Was shocked to see the Caps lose two in a row.

Tough defensive game. Nicholas Backstrom scored the loan goal of the game, midway through the second period. The Flyers could get nothing past Holtby today.

 

Washington wins the series 4-2.
