Great game. Ludlow was leading most of the game. Holy Cross tied it up, then Ludlow got the lead back in the top of the 7th. Holy Cross scored in the bottom of the 7th to send it to extra innings. Ludlow then scored to go up one in the 8th. Ludlow then had an error to start the bottom of the 8th and Holy Cross then ending up scoring 2 to win it.

 

Holy Cross is a very good team and Ludlow is too as they showed today. Coach Gray has done a very good job with the Ludlow program and I think they will make some more noise as this year goes on.

It was a good back and forth game. Errors were costly for the Panthers in the 8th inning. HC can hit the ball well.

Unfortunately for Ludlow, they not only started the 8th with an error, but followed it up with a couple more errors... 2 unearned runs to lose it. They gotta learn and move on though.

For Ludlow, TC Eades and Evan Slone pitched. Holy Cross used three pitchers, all very good (not sure of their names).

Heard Ludlow got a nice bounce back win last night against Holmes... Final score of 9-1.

The Panthers are now 5-2 on the season.
